The Aniridia Foundation International is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to assisting those with low vision and blindness. The children born with the genetic disease, aniridia, live their life with low vision or blindness. It can also be passed to future generations. Although rare, this blinding condition is comprised of common eye and medical conditions such as glaucoma, cornea scarring, retinal problems and a higher risk of glucose intolerance or diabetes.
AFI’s medical and scientific board consist of top doctors from all over the world and serve the aniridia community with expert advice and support
